Algas asi Võrust, sealt liiguti mööda metsateid edasi Põlvamaale Orava ja Piusa ümbrusse. Oliver Land’i talu maadel toimus mõõduvõtmine ringrajal. Edasi seigeldigi terve pealelõuna pikki raudteed, lähedastes metsades ning raudtee all olevates tunnelites. Pimeduse saabudes liiguti Piusa Ürgoru Külalistemajja kus õhtu jätkus söömise, joomise ning suitsusaunaga, ning lõppes õiglase unega. Hommikul liiguti edasi lähedal asuvale krossirajale kus toimus teine aja peale sõit, ning sealt edasi läbi metsade Koidula piiripunkti. Koidula piiril olevas sööklas võeti viimane eine, jagati jõulukinke ja autasustati osavamaid, seejärel sõideti metsateid mööda Värskani.
Christmas Safari 2009:
It started in Võru and moved through forest roads to Põlvamaa, to places around Orava and Piusa. There was a competition on the farmlands of Oliver Land. After that the whole afternoon was spent venturing along the railroad, in the forests around it and in the tunnels below it. When it got dark, the party moved on to the Piusa Ürgoru Holiday Center where the night continued with eating, drinking and smoke sauna and ended with a good night’s rest. In the morning we went to close-by cross-track where the other competition was held and after that we moved through the forests to Koidula checkpoint. We had the last meal in the cafe at the border of Koidula, shared christmas presents and gave prizes to the best and after that forest roads took us to Värska.
